Custom Labels

This is where you can override key labels that are used in the Space Program. By changing these labels you can effectively customize the 'jargon' in the space program to match that of your organization or the project it is used in.

Total FTE
Full-Time Equivalents. Some organizations like to use this acronym or another one, or the full word. Sometimes also called Formation.
Total People
Sometimes this is also called Headcount, or body count.
Generated Spaces
The number of spaces of a specific space type the generators have generated. Is sometimes called the "Policy count" or parametric result.
Planned Spaces
The number of spaces including possible overrides. Sometimes also called Preferred, Desired, Actual.
Delta Spaces
The difference between Generated and Actual can also have its own label
Primary Workstations
The number of primary workstations in each space. Sometimes called "Desks" or "Health & Safety compliant workstation" or "workstation".
Workplace Count
In most advanced workplace concepts each type of seat is weighed differently, a Primary workstation typically counts for 1 whole, but a temporary seat in a booth only counts for half a workstation, and a chair in a class room or restaurant may also not be counted as a whole workstation. There is a legion of alternatives for this label such as "Workstation fraction", "Seat count", Workplace counting units, etc. Use as needed when not every seat in each space type is counted evenly.
Capacity
The actual number of seats in each space type.
Planned Net Surface
Because worldwide there are many different space measuring systems Spacepro offers the ability to adjust this label to match the dimensions you have used when setting up your Space types. This can be Usable, Lettable, a BOMA variant, or an abbreviation that the client prefers to use.
Planned Gross Surface
Same as for Net Surface, depending on the need and the actual factor entered into the "Basic calculation parameter" section, you can enter the label or abbreviation you need.
Delta Surface
Sometimes called circulation space, overhead etc
