Summary Panel

The Summary Panel settings control what is shown at the Summary bar at the bottom of each screen in the SpacePro interface and what is included in the introduction section in the PDF export.

Each element can be set to "Show" or "Hide".

  • Chart
Should the bullet chart of generated vs planned vs Available vs Current be shown or not?
If the Available and Current surface amounts are known they are automatically included in the chart. If you don't want to see these values in the chart, remove them in the "Basic Calculation parameters" section of the settings.
  • Total FTE
The total of the Full-Time Equivalents in all groups after the Growth Factor is applied. If the organization that this space program is intended for, you don't have to report on FTE you don't have to show it. Some organizations are used to discuss desk sharing ratios per FTE, others use the ratio per Person. using this setting and the next you can chose which one you want to use.
  • Total People
The total of the People in all groups after the Growth Factor and FTE to People is applied.
  • Delta Spaces
The difference between the total number of spaces from the output of the generators and the total number of planned space overrides.
  • Primary Workstations (key metric)
The total of the primary workstations across all space types, groups, and tags, after the possible overrides have been applied. It is the Planned amount, not the Generated amount. Each space type can have an integer number of Primary Workstations. They are defined in the Space types themselves. Not every seat in the space is necessarily a primary workstation. Using this number the actual number of primary workstations is defined. It is an integer because something either is or isn't primary.
  • Workplace units (key metric)
The total of the Workplace units across all space types, groups, and tags, after possible overrides have been applied. Each space type can have a decimal number of workplace units. The workplace count factor is defined in the Space type themselves. The total number of Workplace units is the capacity of each space type multiplied by the Workplace count factor multiplied by the number of space types.
  • Capacity (key metric)
The total of the capacity across all space types, groups, and tags, after the possible overrides have been applied. The capacity indicates how many people can reside in the room in its intended usage.
  • Planned Net Surface (key metric)
The total of the surface across all space types, groups, and tags after the possible overrides have been applied. The Planned Net surface is the Surface of each space type, multiplied by the number of occurrences in the output of the generators, plus or minus the overrides. Please note that when the Planned Net Surface label has changed (see "Custom Label Settings") the name of this setting is not changed.
  • Planned Gross Surface (key metric)
The Planned Net Surface multiplied by the "Nett to gross surface factor" setting from the "Basic Calculation Parameters" settings.
Please note that when the Planned Gross Surface label has changed (see "Custom Label Settings") the name of this setting is not changed.
  • Delta Surface (key metric)
The difference between Planned Net and Planned Gross surface. Please note that when the Delta Surface label has changed the name of this setting is not changed.
  • Key Metrics
It is possible to show the output of the above key metrics per FTE or per Person.
    • N/A: Don't show the key metrics divided by the number of FTE or People
    • FTE: Show each key metric divided by the total number of Full-Time Equivalents
    • People: Show each key metric divided by the total number of People
    • FTE Present: Show each key metric divided by the total number of Full-Time Equivalents adjusted by the In-Office %
