What does the implicit flex factor mean and how is it established?
The implicit flex factor is a crucial aspect of the WorkNavigator Dashboard, which helps to optimize workspace utilization.
The Reworc software calculates it using employees' activity- and mobility patterns. It shows the ratio of in-office "desk" work vs other and remote work. The software uses an attenuation factor to account for unequal time distribution at the office and for using multiple workstations.
The default attenuation level is 80%, but you can adjust it manually to be more conservative or progressive. However, the actual calculation of the implicit flex factor is complex. Users cannot easily replicate it manually using the data on the dashboard.
