Create a new Space program

You create a new Space program based on a WorkNavigator population and a Template.

1. Navigate to the homepage of SpacePro by clicking on the home grid icon in the top left corner.
2. Click the "Create new Space program" button.
   If you don't see the button, it means you don't have the right to do so. Please take a look at the article on the SpacePro roles (see related articles).
3. In the Create new Space program page, enter the required details.
   1. Name: enter the name of the new Space program (required)
   2. Description: enter an optional description of the space program.
   3. Partner: from which Partner environment do you want to select the template and population.
      if you only have access to one partner, this field will not be selectable.
   4. Template: choose the template you want to use to create the Space program. In the image above the Template selector (magnifying glass icon) was selected to display detailed information about each available template to assist the selection
   5. Measurement system: choose Metric or Imperial, based on the measurement system you would like to use in the Space program you are creating.
   6. Percentage of FTE to use for guests: Most templates will have generators that will take the number of visitors into the account. The number of visitors is expressed as a percentage of the formation (FTE). If an organization has about 20 concurrent visitors on a given day and has a formation of 250 FTE, the Percentage would be 20/250*100=8. You would enter 8 into this field.
      
      It is expressed as a percentage instead of an absolute number because the number of visitors will likely shrink or expand with the organization.
   7. Project: select a project from the drop-down list or use the Project selector by clicking on the Magnifying glass icon. Only projects are shown that contain a valid Scenario to be used. So if the population you want to use does not appear, make sure that it has a scenario in WorkNavigator.
   8. Scenario: select the scenario from the drop-down list or use the Scenario selector by clicking on the magnifying glass icon. The selector will show the name of the scenario, its creation date and will list the names of the groups in the scenario.
   9. After you click "Generate Space program" the WorkNavigator information will be processed, copied, analyzed, and ran through the generators to create the first version of the new Space program. SpacePro will show you the "Intro" page with an initial text containing the metadata result of the generation process.
