Space programming with SpacePro
About Space Programming
The first step in any space delivery project is to define the requirements of the occupants—a process called space programming. Space programming includes identifying problems and needs, then providing the right amount and type of space, equipment, and furniture needed to function efficiently. If this vital step is overlooked, the project team may misinterpret the space requirements, resulting in costly change orders and cost overruns during the construction process.
Space programming with Reworc: SpacePro
In Reworc' SpacePro the workplace needs of a population are provided by transforming their behavior patterns (activities, collaboration, complexity, time, importance, mobility) into Worksettings (a workplace that is suitable for certain behaviors). These Worksettings are transformed into Spaces through Generators (simple rules). Using tags inside the generator will earmark the generated work and support spaces with specific labels that allow you to keep track and summarize the various types of spaces in your program.
Userfriendly and Extensible
When you start to use SpacePro the entire system is pre-configured to handle the most common scenario's with our best-practice templates. The great thing about SpacePro is that you can customize and finetune these templates to your own, or your client's, situation. This way you not only accelerate one project but you build up an explicit knowledge base of best practices that will provide tremendous value over time.
