Place - Technology model

The Technology model on the Place - Equipment page shows what tools are to be supported for each key activity, optionally in which Worksetting.

Purpose

Shows what kind of Equipment and services are used with which activity, and by association, also in which worksetting that occurs. This can Validate technology policies as they are tied to work activities.

It is also a great way to examine and analyze why certain activities are mapped to specific Worksettings.

Levels

This Sankey graph consists of three levels. From left to right: Activities, Worksettings, and Tools / Resources. 

Categories per level

The categories in the 3 levels are the labels related that occur at each level, used for the specific project. This can vary.

Lines

The lines between the categories are the number of times a connection between two categories between two levels is made.
A line is thicker if it occurs more often.

Values

The values that are shown when hovering the cursor over an item is the frequency that that specific item occurs in the selected population.
