Interaction Module
All great things are achieved in teams. Collaboration and teamwork are for a large part what evolved us. In organizations, this is no different. Connecting the right people at the right moment is accelerating results. Learn how information flows through your organization and connect the dots in (future) work environments.
What it shows
The interaction module shows the amount, the direction, and the type of information that is shared between the population's organizational entities.
Why it matters
The meta-information of the flow of information in this module gives an understanding of 'who needs who' and the priorities of networks that need more access to each other. Restrictions of information indicate organizational silos and bottlenecks can be identified. Both help to reveal the adjacency needs. Furthermore, it gives input when the organization is (re-)considering communication technology and/or Mobility(policy).
So what?
Entities that rely on each other for effective (face-to-face) collaboration to achieve their goals should be located close together in the workspace. If each individual needs to cross a distance to do so a lot of time is wasted.
